OUR MOST POPULAR TREATMENTS

Tummy Tuck

What is Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)?

Tummy Tuck surgery involves removal of excess fat and skin from the abdominal area as well as tightening the muscles of the abdominal wall. It’s a popular procedure among patients who want to improve the appearance of their abdomen after extreme weight loss and pregnancy. As a result of weight loss and giving birth the skin loses its elasticity and in some cases it can no longer return to its original form. A Tummy Tuck will not only help you regain your body and your confidence, but when combined with liposuction it will also give you a contoured waistline.

How is Tummy Tuck Performed?

In full tummy tuck surgery, two incisions are made to remove the excess fat and skin and to create a new belly button. The first incision is made across the lower abdomen and a second incision is made around the navel. During full tummy tuck surgery, the abdominal wall is tightened with sutures and once the weakened muscles are repaired the excess skin is removed. The remaining skin is then pulled down and reattached together with a new opening for the belly button, which is pulled through the hole and sutured in place.

mini tummy tuck on the other hand is used to remove the excess skin and fat in the lower abdomen when muscle repair is not necessary. Compared with a full tummy tuck, a smaller incision is made across the lower abdomen and the navel does not need to be repositioned. Once the incision is made, the excess skin is removed and the remaining skin is stitched together for a flatter and firmer stomach.

Rhinoplasty

What is Rhinoplasty (Nose Job)?

Rhinoplasty commonly known as a ’nose job’, is a popular procedure used for changing the shape or size of the nose to both aesthetically enhance it and restore its functions. Patients who are unhappy with the way their nose looks wish to have rhinoplasty to improve  their overall appearance. As the central feature of the face, how it looks can affect your confidence, therefore making it one of the most common procedures performed by our surgeons. In addition to improving your appearance it can also be performed to improve function by correcting breathing problems caused by a deviated septum.

Open or Closed Rhinoplasty?

Depending on the requirements of the patient, there are two common techniques which are used to perform rhinoplasty, including open and closed rhinoplasty. Closed rhinoplasty involves making a tiny cut inside the nose for minor reshaping whereas in open rhinoplasty the incision is made across the columella (the skin and cartilage bridge in between the nostrils). Our highly skilled surgeons have extensive experience in both of these techniques and they can modify the shape and size of your nose to achieve your desired look for a more confident you.

Vaser Liposuction

What is VASER Liposuction?

VASER Lipo® is a minimally invasive and precise technique used by our highly qualified surgeons to sculpt different parts of the body. It is a state-of-the-art form of liposuction which uses ultrasonic sound waves to target unwanted fat without damaging the surrounding non-fatty tissues. This results in minimal post-operative pain and a shorter recovery compared to traditional liposuction. It is a suitable technique for both men and women who want to achieve a defined appearance with less downtime.

Ultrasonic Liposuction Technology

VASER Lipo® transmits ultrasonic sound waves to break down fat cells using a small probe. The fat then becomes liquefied and is gently removed by a suction process through tiny incisions. VASER Lipo® can be performed under local anaesthesia with sedation since a much higher quantity of fat can be removed in a shorter time. Other benefits include immediate results with continuous improvement, as well as skin tightening by deeply heating the skin and stimulating collagen production.

Male Breast Reduction

What is Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)?

Gynecomastia or commonly referred to as man boobs is a condition in which males develop excess breast tissue and/or fat on their chest. The development of breast tissue can be caused by a hormone imbalance or as a result of dramatic weight loss. Although it’s not a health concern, Gynecomastia can be very distressing, causing men of all ages and fitness levels to have low self-esteem.

How is it performed?

Male breast reduction involves the removal of excess fat and breast tissue by making a small incision around the nipple. Patients who only have fatty tissue without excess skin can be treated with Liposuction alone to smooth the chest area. If there is excess skin, however, this will be removed by your surgeon for a more masculine look.

Breast Reduction

What is Breast Reduction?

Breast reduction surgery is performed to reduce the size and weight of breasts. Women with large breasts often suffer from physical and emotional discomfort, including low self-esteem. Breast reduction surgery not only enhances the appearance of breasts, but it also gives patients the confidence and freedom to participate in physical activities they would otherwise not be able to perform. It can also help eliminate the back, shoulder, and neck pain that’s often caused by large breasts. That’s why surgical breast reduction is a very popular treatment for women with large and sagging breasts.

How is it Performed?

A breast reduction involves the removal of excess fat, skin, and tissue from your breasts. In many cases, a breast uplift is performed at the same time to reshape your breast and reposition the nipple and areola for more youthful results. Depending on the size of your breasts, your skin and your anatomy the technique used by your surgeon will either be an inverted T reduction or a vertical pattern reduction.

The most common type of breast reduction is an inverted T reduction, especially for reducing very large breasts or those with excessive breast skin. Most patients are concerned about post-operative scarring and although it will not completely disappear, the scar will gradually fade over time.

Breast Uplift

What is a Breast Uplift?

Breast Lift, or Mastopexy is a common procedure performed to help reshape breasts which have drooped due to ageing, weight loss, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Breast Lift surgery can restore breasts back to their youthful firmness and perky form by removing excess skin caused by loss of elasticity.

How is it Performed?

There are many different techniques used in in breast lift surgery. The right surgical technique varies according to each patient and the desired outcome. The procedure involves making an incision around the areola down to the breast to remove excess skin and repositioning the nipples by moving them higher. The nipples may sometimes need to be reduced in size for a more aesthetically pleasing result.

Breast Lift with Implants

If breasts have lost volume, implants can be used to enhance them by combining a breast lift with breast enlargement surgery. While a Breast Lift helps position breasts to a higher position, breast implants can restore their fullness. Patients tend to be very satisfied with their results as breasts will be higher, perkier, and larger than they were before surgery.

Breast Enlargement

What is Breast Enlargement?

Breast enlargement surgery is one of the most popular procedures in the UK. Many women decide to undergo breast enlargement surgery to increase the volume of their breasts due to their naturally small size or following extreme weight loss, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

The procedure involves placing silicone implants under the breast tissue by making a small incision either in the armpit, around the nipple or under the breasts. The implants are then placed either in front or behind the chest muscles depending on the size of the patient’s chest.

Round or Anatomical Breast Implants?

There are two types of silicone implants used in breast enlargement surgery, namely round and anatomical. Round implants are very popular due to their fuller and proportioned shape. Alternatively, anatomical implants are shaped like a teardrop to mimic the natural look and feel of a real breast.

Both round and anatomical implants come in smooth and textured versions. Textured implants are designed to stay securely in their position, while smooth implants are less likely to ripple. During the initial consultation, your surgeon will take all this into consideration as well as your body type and desired results to choose the right breast shape and size for you.

Our surgeons only use MENTOR®, the leading breast implants approved by the FDA.

Brazilian Butt Lift

What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?

Brazilian Butt Lift involves grafting fat from different parts of the body and transferring it to the buttocks to enhance its shape and size. It is one of the most requested procedures by our patients due to its growing popularity with women who are concerned about their flat or sagging buttocks.

What makes a Brazilian Butt Lift even more appealing is that patients also benefit from permanent fat removal around the midriff, resulting in a curvaceous figure.

How is BBL performed?

During a Brazilian Butt Lift, the patient undergoes VASER Liposuction* to remove fat from their abdomen, back or thighs using ultrasound energy. It is then processed and purified for a greater chance of survival before the highest quality fat cells are re-injected into the buttocks and hips.

Permanent Results

The fat transfer from a Brazilian Butt Lift will remain in your buttocks permanently. While it may take up to four months to see how much fat has survived, once the swelling and bruising goes down you will have a more pronounced shape. Patients will need to wear a compression garment to facilitate the healing process and to help protect the newly placed fat cells for long-lasting results.
